Tampa House offers accommodation for up to three children and young people, regardless of gender, aged between 6 and 17 years old upon admission, who may experience learning disabilities.

The ground floor boasts a spacious living room/dining area, providing a communal haven for residents. Adjacent to it lies a versatile room utilized as an office and a sleep-in area for staff members. Completing the ground level are a convenient shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. Towards the rear, a secure garden and a garage offer additional space and utility. Upstairs, three generously sized rooms await the children, complemented by a well-appointed bathroom featuring a bath, shower, WC, and sink.

While Tampa House may not be wheelchair accessible, its suitability for admission is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, ensuring every referral receives thorough consideration.

Nestled within a residential area of Solihull, Tampa House exudes a welcoming ambiance seamlessly blending into its surroundings. Ample parking space for two vehicles greets visitors at the front of the property.

Convenient transportation options abound, with Water Orton train station nearby and excellent bus and road links facilitating visits to friends, family, and caregivers.

The local community provides opportunities for children and young people to practice their chosen faith, fostering a supportive environment for spiritual growth.

Tampa House benefits from easy access to healthcare services and hospitals, while educational needs are met through tailored school and college provisions within the locality, including a range of SEN schools within a manageable distance.

Tampa house is a residential service for Children and young people diagnosed with Autism, mild to severe learning disabilities and complex needs.

The home offers medium to longer term placements working towards different outcomes for Children and young people during their time in the home. Work can be undertaken to move them onto the next stage of their life such as transitioning into independence or foster care. The home is the only home within Tampa Housing Ltd.

Tampa house provides accommodation for 3 Children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18 years old with Autism, mild to severe learning disabilities, complex needs and associated behaviour challenges.

The aim is to work with Children and young people to support them in all aspects of their care, working towards agreed targets with focus on personal development in areas which may present barriers to enabling successful transitions to the next stage of their lives.

A lot of emphasis is put on the Children and young people having fun and enjoying life to the maximum, with activities planned around their individual needs. We pride ourselves in maintaining relationships and working closely with families, other professionals and external agencies who may be involved with the Young Person; welcoming their ideas and involvement in how we plan and deliver the service provided by the home.
